Travel Health

Travel immunizations and oral medications are available at select locations.

How It Works

  1. Complete your Travel Health Profile at http://safegardtravelmedicine.com/safeway. There is a $49 charge from our Travel Medicine specialist physician to provide recommendations for your trip. This fee does not include the cost of shots.
  2. In the Travel Health Profile select the store to which your recommendations will be transmitted. View the list of participating Pharmacies to find one near you.
  3.  The Pharmacy staff at the store selected will contact you within 2 business days to discuss recommendations, set up an appointment and to administer the immunizations.

Vaccinations

Yellow Fever; Tetanus, Diphtheria and Pertussis; Hepatitis A; Hepatitis B; Flu*; Rabies; Japanese Encephalitis; Meningococcal; Measles, Mumps and Rubella; Varicella; Typhoid Fever; and Polio.

 

*Seasonal. Restrictions apply. Travel immunizations not available in all stores. Travel immunizations not available in Washington, DC; Maryland, Wyoming and South Dakota locations only offer Flu, Pneumonia and Shingles vaccines. See Pharmacy for details.
